This book started weird for me. It took awhile to really get into it. There’s no way I would have finished this as quickly if I hadn’t listened to the audiobook.
It was a good story. Once it got going it was easy to get sucked into, but it took quite some time to get there. I thought I went into this without expectations but as I finished it I felt like I didn’t get what I wanted from this book. So I’m not sure what I expected or wanted but I didn’t really get it.
I still really enjoyed it though. It’s an interesting story concept.
