I really enjoyed this. Generally suburban families highly disinterest me, and for whatever reason, I put the audiobook on hold at the library. I would up really loving the characters and seeing how they developed. You really feel for Pearl, and getting to learn more about her and what her mother has done for her really stuck with me.
