ocie 's review for:
The Eye of the World
by Robert Jordan
Started slow, but not boring. A bit of world building and lore before the story starts. Although I think it was deeply unfair of Jordan to give us the whole intro in Egwene's POV and then make us wait until book 2 before giving us more of her point of view.
Moving on.
The progression of this story feels a lot like a D&D campaign, and I'm not sure if that was on purpose or not. It was interesting, for sure. I like how the characters split up; it helped the storylines along quite a bit.
All in all, it was a good read. Wrapped up nicely. I enjoyed the adventure.
