Oct 12th: Since I've gotten my thoughts in order and given myself time to digest the story, here is a full review!

Dead Women Don't Tell Tales is a short novella (118 pages), a prequel to Adrian J Smith's series being released next year sometime (unsure when, but I am definitely going to be reading it!). Since this is a novella, it is fast-paced and easy to read. I found the story to be a little rushed near the end, but hey, it is a novella after all.

We get a sapphic couple and sapphic sex scenes. This is an adult novel, and it was great. For the length of this, the amount of sex scenes is like a Katee Robert novella (which hello yes absolutely I'll take that).

I took off a star because of the ending being a little rushed, but also because I felt some of the writing was a little choppy. I don't think it was bad, but it also wasn't perfect. However, a novella doesn't have to be perfect in my opinion, so I didn't really think about it that often.

Overall, I'm SUPER excited for the series to release next year!!!
