The Other Side of Wrong

ARC received for an honest review
This is the story I have been waiting for since I began this series.
There has been this undercurrent of "why did Jake leave the band" right through this series, and now we get to find out.
I liked the story between Jake and Cassidy, the push/pull between them as Jake tries to do the right thing by his family, his band and by Cassidy.
I did feel though that after all the build up, the reason why he left the band was a bit... meh. I felt all "really, that's all it was?" - but this could just be me.
I also, like Jake's band mates, couldn't understand why he dropped everything to help those who never helped him.
I felt that the tension between Jake, Jones and Cam was organic and they dealt with it naturally. I loved that they didn't just say I am sorry and all was good. They needed to have it out, and they did.
However, I did feel that the ending was just... I don't know, I was wanting more. To me it felt like there was no real resolution to anything.
I hope we do get Jones' story in the future.
