At first this book gave me strong Hunger Games vibes but then it became a beautiful entity of its own. The world building is subtle & well done - there’s so much more to discover about this society of Reds and Silvers.
That ending. I knew the twist was coming (a certain someone didn’t fool me with his rebellion charade) but we have so much that can happen now! The world is imploding & I am rooting for the Scarlet Guard. This was another stay up until the early hours to finish reading book. After the conclusion of book one, I do have to say I’m team Mare & Cal for the time being.
