I think it's a bad sign when the scariest part of the audiobook is the credits. The introduction was the best part and I just wish that the tension and detail of that first segment was continued throughout the book. All in all, it felt like an endless homage to slasher films with no purpose or plot. And the narrator was unreliable but in the most unintentional way.
