Ellie is suffering some writers block which is how she ends up at the estate of a grumpy Duke. And Max, said grumpy Duke is not thrilled with Ellie.

I enjoyed the back and forth between Ellie and Max. The banter between them was hilarious at times. Add in the tension between the two of them….it all leads to some combustible chemistry.

Ellie and Max were just fun to read from start to finish and there is a lot of laughs when it comes to this story with a sprinkle of spice.
