My Summer in Seoul

Um, what! I lovedddd this book. It took me on one hell of a rollercoaster though, thats for sure. At first I hated everyone but Grace. She was a really likeable character, and easy to like right from the start. It took a really long time for the others to grow on me, but by the end I loved them all.
This was also an interesting look into the K-Pop world. I knew absolutely nothing about K-Pop, apart from the fact its been really big recently, and I think there's a popular band called BTS lol.
I know that RVD did a lot of research to get things right, and - just, wow. What an intense and crazy world. This was full of angst and I just didn't know which way things would go from one page to another. I loved Grace and her determination and steadfast loyalty, especially given a lot of the situations she ended up in and how the world she was thrust into was working. This one also shines a light on mental health, especially in this industry.
By the end of this I was completely and utterly enthralled, and I'm even tempted to look up K-Pop music and have a listen, even though I don't think it would actually be my thing haha.
I'd really love to get books for the rest of the guys, especially Sookie! The group really was wonderful once we got to know them properly and understood all the things going on.
Thoroughly enjoyed this one, and highly recommend!
