Wowww I waited way too long to read this. Once I picked it up, I couldn’t put it down. It would be a perfect read to introduce high schoolers (and adults) to the topic of police violence and the history of the black power movement - there’s history interwoven with Tupac and Harry Potter and Tumblr references. Beautifully done. Starr is going to stick with me.
