Pucked Up
by Helena Hunting
I liked the sample of the next audiobook at the end of this one. I loved Violet in the first book, Pucked. This second book is told from her step-brother's point of view. We don't get Sunny's point of view, which works best for this story. The sad thing is that I started reading these stories because of my coloring book as well as the fact that the author is going to be at Apollycon this year. I was going to be a volunteer again, but I just can't afford to do it this year. So now I don't get to meet the author, who I'm again, totally blown away by. I loved Miller's story. Although I'll always think of him as a Yeti, thanks to Violet. I really found Miller to be a sweetie. Even the way he took care of his sister was sweet. There were parts that made me laugh, and parts that made me cry. And then, the spider bite, I mean that was hilarious! And even though I'm not a guy, the part describing the needle draining the spider bite made me cringe and even get a bit queasy myself. Love, love, love this series.
