The end to the main run of Gerry Duggan's Guardians is like the rest of the series, over the top and fun as hell.

This has each member of the guardians on their own mission. Actually, it has most of them going in groups of twos trying to all come to the same conclusion. With Ant Man and Gamore teaming up to Quill and Rich becoming best bros once more, and Rocket just being a little Snarky badass, we all come to a big build up for the Infinity Wars event. With everything set in place, new faces, old faces returning, and Drax's new mission, it feels like one big set up but with a lot of heart in it.

Good: Loved the hell out of Ant Man in here. Who knew he'd be one of the best characters in GotG? I also thought the art was solid, some great fight scenes, and funny moments to be had. Groot is f'ing adorable here and a badass, and we start solving the evil groot problems too. Quill and Rider back together is perfect.

Bad: Drax storyline seems a odd place to end up tbh. I also realize it's BIG on set up so it feels like moving pieces instead of always naturally happening.

Overall, fun as heck. While not as strong as say volume 1 in storytelling, the dialogue and art are always up there. A 3.5 out of 5.
