达·芬奇密码 by Dan Brown

This book is extremely divisive. You have the camp that love the book. Declare it changed their life. Then there's the ones that proclaim it utter sacrilege to religion, faith and of course the age old tale of the Holy Grail. I fall somewhere I between.

I have a bit of cynicism towards how accurate a representation this book truly is despite Brown's statement at the start about it being a fair account. This seems to be the crux of why so many people hate it. But me? I just see it as a great, unputdownable piece of fiction. I enjoyed The Da Vinci Code. It was easy to read, kept me Hooke and although taken with a pinch of salt, gave me more to think about than the latest Marian Keyes novel.

If people would just look at it "as a story" I'm sure it wouldn't cause half as much debate!
