so I love the story
I wanted to read it for like 12 years now and I knew the entire story because the first time I heard of it was by watching the theatre group in my school perform it.
so nothing that happened in this book was new to me but it still wanted to know what happened and enjoyed reading it so that's great
I just absolutely cannot deal with not knowing mrs. de winters first name.
like yeah sure it's her point of view and first person and why would she tell us her name when it probably doesn't matter
but it matters to me and you cannot tell me her name wouldn't have been mentioned in any conversation ever.
yes this is probably the most unimportant thing to be upset about but it bothers me
also until like 3 quarters into the book I hated every character and then finally they started talking about things and I could stop hating all of them that was nice. but I would have preferred it to happen sooner
