I had such high hopes for this one. It had so much potential and some beautiful lines, but it wasn’t an enjoyable read for me. You hear about so many things that happened to the characters but never see it happen on the page. It left the book feeling long and dull because there wasn’t much action. The ending did feel a bit more action-packed which I appreciated.
