I had a lot of hopes for this book and it kind of disappointed me. There are a lot of cute things about this story and I did enjoy most of my time with it. It was a really fast read but I think there was a bit of substance missing. I would have liked a lot more character development too. There’s one thing that I found funny: there is no halftime in hockey. Wait, until you get there. I don’t know how they missed that in editing! Regardless, this wasn’t a bad read just left a lot to be desired.
