This book actually took me completely by surprise, in a good way! I don't normally like science fiction reads and dystopian literature can freak me out a little, so the intrigue factor has to be really high for me to choose to read a book like this - which it was.
I found the technologically reliant and mega-tracking not altogether fictional world compelling but horrifying, the narrator sensible and reasonable yet deranged and unreliable and the commentary on a capitalist society hard to ignore.
