This is a book that a lot of people give 4 or 5 stars, and I do understand why. It's written very well, with a lot of atmosphere, a loveable main character and a focus on friendship and family. Somehow though it just didn't quite reach that level for me - I liked it and appreciated it, I just didn't love it. If you are intrigued by the summary though, I do recommend giving this book a go because you might find you're one of the people who adore it.
