Daisy Jones & The Six
by Taylor Jenkins Reid
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💫
I wanted to really LOVE this book, and I did really like it.... I read about 2/3 of it in a few hours, tearing through it, then I decided to switch to the audiobook so I could “hear” the music which is such a big part of the story. But Jennifer Beals’ version of Daisy is not what I imagined, so I switched back to the hardback. I wish I had just continued reading and finished the book in 2 days because I think my stopping and starting effected my reading experience.
However, The inspiration for this book was Fleetwood Mac and their album “Rumours” The author, Taylor Jenkins Reid, said she was obsessed with Fleetwood Mac and their reunion concert “The Dance” as a teenager, and so was I! I was obsessed, and watched it over and over and over. I convinced my Mom to take me to the concert... my first ever concert. So, this story was interesting to me.
I would love to see a movie to bring this story and it’s music to life.
