This is an awesome debut middle-grade books!
There is beautiful representation and the discussions around queerness and intersectionality in identities.
I appreciate that our main character and two main side characters all have their own personalities and challenges that are written in a way that doesn’t overwhelm. It felt authentic to middle grade years of life, and the dynamics between these characters are so well-done.
