Goodnight June
by Sarah Jio
This could be one of my top 3 Sarah Jio books. I admit that I thought the premise of this story to be silly, but Jio really pulled it off beautifully. As a children's literature fan, the way she weaves in the life of Margarget Wise Brown and her multitude of book titles was wonderful. The story is fast and light, although there was a great twist at the end that I really didn't see coming. I made myself slow down and read this over two days to savor the tale.
