Warm Bodies
by Isaac Marion
I really enjoyed the world in this book. I wasn't going to read it cause I have seen the film(which i loved) but my friend read the book and gave it to me.
R is great and I love that for the first time we get a look into the mind of a zombie. R is sensitive and asks the questions we presume zombies just don't think about. This book makes you rethink the stories and movies of zombies that we've seen and read before.
There is a very beautiful contrast between the words R speaks out loud and his thoughts. The whole book is basically a stream of thoughts from R's mind and the language and the thinking he does about complex issues and why things are the way they are is really shape the poignancy of a book that you might not take as seriously at first.
It is a tale of finding your humanity when we would all presume humanity is lost.
