Swallowing Darkness
by Laurell K. Hamilton
Finished this Sunday and I have mixed feelings. LKH has a tendency to over describe things which can be very fustrating when you are trying to get to the action. I mean do I really need to waste three pages reading that describes everyone's clothes? In this book everything that we have been waiting for went down. The big show down with the enemies. love, babies, ectra. So why isn't this the last book in the series? I liked how it ended but I feel like she used a bunch of fluff to drag the book out. Also I don't like how the heroine and Anita Blake are practically the same person. I like Anita Blake and I like Merry but it feels like as the Merry books continue LKH seems to be making them into one person emotionally and analytically.
