Gaiman continues to hold his spot as one of my current favorite authors, and quite possibly as my all-time favorite 'fantasy' author (though that oversimplified genrefication of his work hardly seems fair). His ability to not just tell stories, but to invoke the Stories underlying everything is magical in itself. Anansi Boys was wonderful -- funny, creepy, and magical -- and is in strong competition with [b:Stardust|16793|Stardust|Neil Gaiman|http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/519JIJ-RxOL._SL75_.jpg|3166179] as my current favorite Gaiman work.
