This was an interesting book. I loved the setting, and got a real feel of Seattle. I also loved Monica.
I’m a little unsure about Maggie, but Desmond was a solid character.
I think where it was a little strange for me was the fact a lot of this book revolves around things explained in other books, which I haven’t read. It made for a bit of a disconnect which thankfully was solved just as it got too much to handle.
I did think this did detract from the story a bit, as well as the fact you don’t initially see Desmond and Maggie meeting.
Still, this was a solid book. I would suggest reading the associated books first, but do give it a go!
