bookergirl90 's review for:
Saga, Vol. 2
by Brian K. Vaughan
The second volume is just as great as the first. It wastes no time and picks up right where the first one ends.
This just continues to follow our characters through life during war, raising a child on the run and the people and friends they meet along the way. We get flashbacks to the past which are weaved in perfectly. We get more character and world building and meet new people as well. Mixed underneath and weaved into the story is the political and social commentary that drives our heroes and moves the story along. So much is happening and it doesn't feel overwhelming. The pacing is just right.
Such an entertaining series for any fantasy/sci-fi fan.
