For the fist 70% of the book I just knew I was going to give this 5 stars. The writing was wonderful. The suspense kept me on the edge of my seat. I had so many theories as to what was happening. I was seriously invested.
At about 70% I started to get bored. But I was still waiting on the wonderful twist that everyone was talking about at the end. Well… the big reveal was so damn lame and not shocking at all. This whole book was so unique and you get to the end just for it to have the same twist as every basic thriller book or movie in the world. The end was so bad that I’m knocking my 5 star prediction down to 3 stars. It tainted the whole book to me.
When the ending to a book puts me in a whole bad mood, it wasn’t even worth reading. Even though I LOVED most of the book, the ending ruined everything for me.
