I think this was a very cool concept for a book, I really enjoyed the two narratives by very different characters actually written by different authors. I didn’t realize that it was YA when I placed it on hold so the book was a lot shorter than I expected and was a quick read. Even as a YA I think this could’ve been a bit grittier and less cliched, I wish they would’ve elaborated on the backstories of the characters and gone further into depth with character development and emotions.
