this book a while to get going with a pretty slow pace and towards the end it felt a bit too rushed for me and i wasn’t extremely satisfied with how the “who done it” was resolved and that section of the book ended.
but besides those things… this was good.
it had a good amount of twists and turns on it, how it all happened and everything that happened wasn’t something that i saw coming as it was revealed and ended up happening.
and while it took me a while to finally get into the book -around page 150 it stated to really lock up for me and i just wanted to know what was going on and where this was going - once i was hooked… i just read the entire ready of the book in one sitting.
it’s defiantly more of a slow build suspense novel with mystery moments and not a thriller.
so if you go into this expecting heart racing moments and edge of your seat suspense? i think you will be disappointed.
it’s a bit of quieter book that ends up with a pretty big bang. but it takes its time getting there.
and while i wouldn’t say it was unpredictable, i would say it was well put together and told as it is.
it’s a good read and i think a fantastic choice for a cozy comfortable evening, cuddling up and letting yourself be swept up in a story and carried away by the characters.
