When a book starts with a playlist, you know it’s going to be a good one.
In all honesty, when I started this book I hated it. The writing style was not for me. I hated the dropping of pronouns at the start of sentences, and don’t get me started on the use of “prolly” instead of probably.
BUT I very quickly got drawn in by the characters, I loved their development, their chemistry, their story. Aurora, a girl who’s been running from her fears for 12 years is a character I think a lot of us can relate to. And Wyatt, a heartbroken man who’d still do anything for the girl who abandoned him? He’s the most lovable character. The book developed beautifully, and we got the ending we wanted.
The spice was more than I could have hoped for 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️
