This writing duo have produced a beautifully crafted, engaging romance with two well developed and likeable main characters that had me turning the pages desperate to read more.
Ranger is a veteran who has PTSD and this is portrayed with such sensitivity. He can be a bit of a grump which is in contrast to the happy, cheerful, quirky natured Julian.

Their paths cross and so begins a friendship that later morphs into some very hot and steamy moments. This is a low angst read so there are no roadblocks for them to negotiate on the way to their HEA. Maybe just some crazy loveable animals interrupting at an in opportune time! Said animals providing some great laugh out loud moments.

I found this to be a very enjoyable read with a dash of drama to balance the humour and a plot line that left a smile on my face.
