Catching Fire

couldn't even finish it. so horrifically disappointing... and I even made if through the twilight series. the difference I suppose is that the twilight series was never remotely good, so as you kept reading and it got progressively worse, there was nothing to do but groan and laugh about it. it was a shame on you if you keep reading scenario. but the difference here is that the hunger games, though thoroughly disturbing, was hauntingly beautiful and exciting and riveting. I only got halfway through it, but katniss became the most worthless and pointless blob of blah that I couldn't bare to keep going. it wouldn't be worth reading the gore of another hunger games for this. how did katniss go from being strong and tough and smart and interesting to just so damn boring? the only remotely interesting detail I was still wanting to know was about the mystery district. but I looked up spoilers for the rest of the series to see if it was worth reading and well let's just say nothing sounded remotely impressive. so, because I don't want to ruin the glory of the original, I'm so done.
