This book was a great demonstration of how things are not always what they seem. You can never really tell what’s going on behind closed doors and you don’t know your neighbors as well as you think you do.

When a woman and her children go missing from a quiet suburban neighborhood, the whole town is rocked to its core. Should they suspect her doctor husband that all the patients adore? Is it someone from her past? A stranger who came during the night? Police investigate and begin to question the last people she was seen with: her neighbors. They soon realize that they didn’t really know her at all.

A thriller with definite trigger warnings for domestic violence.

One of the things I liked most about this book was the use of multiple POVs. I always love multiple narrators and seeing things from different vantage points. I feel like it adds to all the twists and turns and suspense.
