I received this book as an ARC for my honest review and I can’t wait to give it

First off, make sure to check trigger warnings, if they trigger you please do not read this book. Some of those triggers begin in just the first few pages of the book and continue on throughout the whole book so tread lightly.

Lanie is just getting out of an abusive relationship and heads off to college. Of course just coming out of that relationship she isn’t looking for anything but along come Xander and the instant attraction they had. Omg and how Xander protected her when he could. So sweet and beautiful, he was so patient and kind. I was waiting for the show to drop so to say since everything was going so good and when it did. Boy did it. The ending for me was a little unbelievable for me. While it could happen, the likelihood of something like that happening is very very slim. Getting over that fact, I’m so happy that both Lanie and Xander got their HEA. can’t wait to read about Becca and Ty next.

Make sure you get this book once it’s available, it’s a rollercoaster of emotions but I loved every bit of it!
