PJ& The Lightning Thief was still just as great as I remembered. Following Percy on his adventure to retrieve the Master Bolt rarely became boring with all the monsters he encountered along the way. I recently read the graphic novel version and I thought that it would make re-reading this feel redundant, but it definitely didn't, especially since the graphic novel doesn't include all the monsters or adventures the actual book does. I can't wait to read the Sea of Monsters next and follow this up with a review on my blog.
