Percy is finally growing up and realizing that he is not yet a hero and still has a lot of learning to do, so I found him less insufferable in this volume. I really enjoyed Artemis and her merry band of hunters, and meeting more characters from the myths. The ending was surprising in a good way, and I'm interested to see what will happen next.
