I actually enjoyed this book. I liked this one better than The Final Girl Support Group. But that may be because I liked the main character better in this one than that one.
I suggest not diving into this book expecting to be scared. There are “scary” scenarios and gross scenes but I wouldn’t say I’d have nightmares. I can see why it’s classified horror. But I’d say more light horror… I’m trying to not give anything away.
I truly enjoy Grady Hendrix. He takes a theme combines it with a concept and runs with it.
