I'm very new to comics, but having just watched parts of the Nolan trilogy, I'm inclined to say this is better in my humble beginner's opinion.
Batman's characterization here is so entertaining, and I loved the switching between him and Gordon. Gordon's issues were really intriguing, and between him and whatever batman had going on, I was entertained the whole time. I'm happy that they figured out he was Bruce so quickly; it's always been so obvious, and it's nice to see someone get it.
I wish they had done more with Catwoman's plotline. She felt like she was really pushed to the sidelines and hammered into the story, not giving her much time to shine. She was entertaining in what little cells she had, but if I wasn't so familiar with the catwoman story already, I would've felt out of the loop.
...I wish the Joker hook at the end was real. I love da joka baybe.
