One of the many things I did not like about this book was the unimaginative and dull sex scenes. One of the many things I hated about this book is that the love interest is a 1990 precursor to Christian Grey, only without the sex. You can't be a psychotic dick who refuses to let your love interest make her own decisions about food, let alone her career, and then emotionally manipulate her into getting married and quitting her dream job to raise your children from your previous marriage, without having some weapons-grade incredible sex scenes. This book was so appallingly fucked up I felt gross even holding it in my hand.
