The story and writing were very good but I listened to it rather than read and it was slow. I had to speed up the listening speed because parts of the story seemed repetitive and self-intuitive.
That could very well be a reader issue as I had trouble finding the main character likable at times. She's very angry and sharp tongued and I just don't vibe with ragey characters.
In any case I will read the sequel and see if it moves a bit quicker
