The Revolution of Birdie Randolph
by Brandy Colbert
Lovvvved this. Such a compelling coming of age story with so many intersecting factors--race, class, sexuality, addiction, respectability politics... all combining to really bring Birdie's struggles into such clarity. (Worth noting specifically--a character who comes to understand themselves as being on the asexuality spectrum.)
