This is a very original retelling of Huckleberry Finn!! I especially love the characters that are introduced later into the book. I became really invested towards page 100. The slave perspective was jarring and emotional💔

I wish there was more time given to Hucks/James relationship - I've never read Huckleberry Finn so it might be a skill issue but I would've read 50/100 pages of this story!!
