I couldn't quite connect with June because I've read many characters like her and I wasn't sure that I was going to like the book as much as I do now that I finished it, though I connected strongly with Day and I could actually feel his pain and, boy, was the last part of the book painful. I'm intrigued to read the next books and I hope they're as good as this one. I'm a sucker for dystopians and this wasn't the exception!
