This was a nice, short play. Literally 15-20 pages, based on what format you read it in. I had to read it a couple of times to really get it, but here's the non-spoiler gist:

A woman is suspected of killing her husband. The officers search the house and barn for any physical evidence, but the women who have accompanied them consider the emotional motives that could have lead to the heinous act. The women are then faced with trying to explain to the officers their theory or staying quiet.

Especially for the time in which it was written, this really is a good little play.
