nikereadsbooks 's review for:
Stardust
by Neil Gaiman
adventurous
funny
medium-paced
Stardust brings back all the joy and nostalgia from my childhood when I used to watch the film almost every week.
The story has so many fairy tale elements, but definitely more mature and sometimes they are even gory.
Still! It was such a pleasant read that successfully made me enjoy every single page.
Not knowing the book ending, I was a little bit surprised by the ending (and no pirate drama!) but I liked it took. Especially Victoria's part and Tristan's mother. Maybe there was a bit of disappointment that there was no final witch fight. But she has to face her sisters and that sounds as bad as death.
Glad I picked up this book!
