This was allllll over the place for me, I think due to the large cast of characters whose POV’s you read from. The main twists I feel like I almost missed because they happened so fast and didn’t really have me on the edge of my seat. I thought that Dale’s reason for being a killer didn’t make much sense either. I will say, the book was fantastically written, poetic at times. You could also tell the author was familiar with the strip club setting, and that was confirmed at the end of my audiobook when we find out she worked at one in the past! So that was some good insight. Anyway, less POV’s and better twists would have enhanced the enjoyment of this story for me.
Graphic: Rape, Kidnapping
Moderate: Torture, Murder, Injury/Injury detail
Minor: Racism
