Okay I read the version of this book that was re-released in 2021 with the updated cover and what were referred to as “slight edits.” Folks - this book has SIGNIFICANT changes from the original release including a cut of the entire prologue and a completely different first kiss between the two MCs as well as significant inner monologue cuts for Simon, which completely changes the character arcs for the two mains.

I wouldn’t care if I didn’t know what was missing but I think the updated version really suffered and it feels like a different book than the ones my friends who read the original got.

I wish the publisher made a note at the beginning of the book to let us know what was changed and why. This feels like a total rewrite and I don’t understand why these changes were made.
