Secrets So Deep by Ginny Myers Sain

mysterious slow-paced

I both liked this book a lot but also had some issues with it.

I liked this theater summer camp place. I liked that Avril wanted to go there and hopefully get some answers about her mother. Her mother, who died here, when she was 5. A mother she doesn't really remember.

I thought that people should have been more concerned when Avril started sleepwalking into the ocean, having visions and fainting but they all just shrugged when she said she was "fine".

I guessed a few of the twists but there was one little one that surprised me.

I felt that the fog is supposed to be this big, scary thing that shows "memories" of things that have happened or will happen at this place but it didn't really give me a creepy vibe.

I did like how Cole was with Avril and their relationship and how protective he was of her. I really liked her best friend Lex. He was like a ball of sunshine and so devoted to their friendship.
