This was a very short little novella from Logan's point of view. I really like Logan, I mean who doesn't?! But I have to say I was a little disappointed that we didn't get more insight to how he was feeling about Gwen and what was going to happen after he went all reaper on her. There was a lot of him expressing his all consuming guilt over what happened, but I knew that already. I was just hoping for something a little more I guess.

It was still a peek at Logan though, so it wasn't bad. It also hinted at something pretty big happening at the Academy while he was away, so I'm super excited to dive into Midnight Frost and see what's going on there!! So all in all, it was short and sweet and I did enjoy it, but I don't think you exactly have to read it to find out anything new to the series as a whole.
