Extremely good. I checked this out from the library without knowing anything about it, just that I heard it was one of the best books of 2017. Based on the summary I wouldn't normally have picked it up but I am so glad that I did.

All the characters were so richly described and fully realized. I cried a lot in the last few chapters, to the point where I couldn't see the words.

Highly recommended.
